We have several ideas for raising funds, and we are ready to get a couple of them underway! Please check out the following ideas to see if there is a way you'd like to help kick off our campaign to raise our needed funds.
1. Love coffee? Please check out www.justlovecoffee.com/thejarrards. Take the time to read the story about the family who created this organization to help adoptive families raise funds. A portion of each sale goes directly to our adoption fund! I've ordered their coffee already ... love that I can have a little bit of Ethiopia with me each day!
2. This sounds crazy to say this after we just worked so hard to de-clutter our home, but we would love your clutter! My mom is hosting a yard sale for us in conjunction with a big sale her neighborhood is sponsoring. We will gladly pick up anything you would like to donate for us to sell. The sale is in Savannah, but we will take a load of anything we get from Middle Georgia. So, we're asking all of our Savannah, Macon, and Warner Robins friends to unload any old junk with us! We will pick them up by Nov. 12th for the sale on the 13th.
3. We have added a PayPal button for donations in the sidebar of our blog. We hope that this is a quick and easy way to contribute if you feel led to do so in that way.
We are excited to get our fund raising underway, and we are thankful to be taking yet another step to bringing our boy(s) home!
